What is Transfer Factor?
Who should take it?

Since the September 11 attack on America there has been increased recognition of the possibility of a biological or chemical attack. Perhaps most well known is the threat of Anthrax. The bacteria Bacillus anthracis causes anthrax. This bacterium contains spores, which are resistant to sunlight, heat and disinfectant, and can remain active in the soil or water for years. This bacterial infection occurs often in animals. The three different forms of anthrax are inhalation, cutaneous (skin) and gastrointestinal. Inhalation anthrax is the most dangerous with a fatality rate of 90%. The question is posed to 4Life as to whether Transfer Factor and Transfer Factor Plus would be effective against Anthrax and related threats.
The Transfer Factor Family exists for one reason – to support immune function. As with any threat to the immune system, the speed and efficiency with which an immune response is initiated will affect the severity of the effects of that immune threat upon the individual. A strong immune system will respond more quickly than a weak one. Transfer factors provide immune information that otherwise the body might not have available, which information doesn't come from any other immune enhancing ingredient.
In accordance with FDA guidelines, 4Life does not recommend Transfer Factor for any specific condition. We understand that as antibiotics are resisted by the immune threats the need for immune support is critical and we will continue to provide Transfer Factor in order to maintain or improve health. Consider the following statements by Doctors:
"The 'priming potential' of transfer factors on the immune system opens a new world of protective possibilities for us to take personal responsibility for our own long term health."
- William Hennen, Ph.D.
from Transfer Factor: Natural Immune
Booster
"Whether you are worried about contracting pneumonia or anthrax, having a strong immune system is critical."
- Richard Bennett, Ph.D.
